After a restful winter break, the Chords are back at BU’s College of Fine Arts preparing for all the shows to come. We recently enjoyed the company of The Bowdoin College Longfellows, an all male a cappella group from Maine, where we serenaded Newbury Street right outside of JP Licks. It was a blast! Thanks, Longfellows!

We are also excited for our next performance where we get to show our school spirit. This Friday, January 27th at 7:00 PM, we’ll be singing the National Anthem for the BU men’s hockey game. BU’s home rink is Agganis Arena, located at 925 Commonwealth Ave, in Boston.

We can’t wait to show our support for our fellow Terriers! GO BU!

 We’ll be taking on the persona of America’s favorite reality stars to give our concert an dose of drama and excitement! Mark your calendars for this Saturday, December 3rd at 7:00 PM. It will be held in Jacob Sleeper Auditorium, in the College of General Studies on 871 Commonwealth Ave.

Featuring: KSoul, an all-male a cappella group with a Backstreet Boys feel and Liquid Fun, BU’s hilarious comedy troupe.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. They can be purchased at the GSU link or through a Chord.

We’ll be debuting new songs from Pat Benatar, Florence and the Machine, The Beatles, and more! We hope to see you there!

Wondering what auditions will be like? All you’ll have to have prepared is a verse and chorus of any song of your choosing! You’ll also do some vocal exercises at your audition. The audition process will only last a few minutes. We look forward to meeting all of you!

We’d like to thank everyone who came to support us this past Friday. Our Spring Concert was a huge success! A special thanks to K-Soul who got the night off to a great start!

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our senior members, Sarah Spiegel and Sarah Zlotowitz. They’ll definitely be missed!

Are you ready for the concert of all concerts? Well then, we can expect to see you at 7pm on April 29th! Our annual Spring concert will be held in COM101 at 640 Commonwealth Ave. Our tickets are $5 beforehand and $7 at the door.
