After a restful winter break, the Chords are back at BU’s College of Fine Arts preparing for all the shows to come. We recently enjoyed the company of The Bowdoin College Longfellows, an all male a cappella group from Maine, where we serenaded Newbury Street right outside of JP Licks. It was a blast! Thanks, Longfellows!

We are also excited for our next performance where we get to show our school spirit. This Friday, January 27th at 7:00 PM, we’ll be singing the National Anthem for the BU men’s hockey game. BU’s home rink is Agganis Arena, located at 925 Commonwealth Ave, in Boston.

We can’t wait to show our support for our fellow Terriers! GO BU!

You know what that means..It’s time for Chordially Yours’ annual winter concert!

Keeping Up With the CHORDashians

We’ll be taking on the persona of America’s favorite reality stars to give our concert an dose of drama and excitement! Mark your calendars for this Saturday, December 3rd at 7:00 PM. It will be held in Jacob Sleeper Auditorium, in the College of General Studies on 871 Commonwealth Ave.

Featuring: KSoul, an all-male a cappella group with a Backstreet Boys feel and Liquid Fun, BU’s hilarious comedy troupe.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. They can be purchased at the GSU link or through a Chord.

We’ll be debuting new songs from Pat Benatar, Florence and the Machine, The Beatles, and more! We hope to see you there!

We want to thank everyone that auditioned for Chords! We heard over 80 auditions this year and because of all of the talent we saw, it was really difficult to only pick a small selection to call back.

Hey Everyone! We all had so much fun at Splash and now we’re even more excited for our auditions!

Couldn’t find us at Splash to sign up for an audition time? Not a problem.

We take walk-ins on both of our audition nights, so feel free to pop in for a five minute audition =)

Our auditions are: Sept 13th (Tues) from 6-10pm @CFA, Room 410 or Sept 14th (Wed) from 7-10pm @CFA, Room 216.

It’s almost time for you to audition to be a brand new Chord! Interested in auditioning? Look for us at BU’s SPLASH! on BU Nickerson Field on September 4th to sign up for an audition time.

Wondering where our auditions are? You’ll find us in the College of Fine Arts, located at 855 Commonwealth Ave!

September 13th, Room 410, 6-10pm OR September 14th, Room 216, 7-10pm

Wondering what auditions will be like? All you’ll have to have prepared is a verse and chorus of any song of your choosing! You’ll also do some vocal exercises at your audition. The audition process will only last a few minutes. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Our Decade Celebration was a Success!

We’d like to thank everyone who came to support us this past Friday. Our Spring Concert was a huge success! A special thanks to K-Soul who got the night off to a great start!

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our senior members, Sarah Spiegel and Sarah Zlotowitz. They’ll definitely be missed!

Come Celebrate our Tenth Year Anniversary!

Are you ready for the concert of all concerts? Well then, we can expect to see you at 7pm on April 29th! Our annual Spring concert will be held in COM101 at 640 Commonwealth Ave. Our tickets are $5 beforehand and $7 at the door.

In addition to having a performance by K-Soul, we will also be releasing our new CD, “Chordz Bop”, at our concert! The CD’s will only be $10 and you don’t want to miss out on your chance to purchase one!
